Urban areas face significant challenges with traffic congestion, necessitating innovative solutions to enhance transportation efficiency. This research paper proposes an elevated transportation system using driverless Pods moving on an elevated rail network, addressing congestion, space limitations, and environmental concerns. The system utilizes cable propulsion between bull wheels, with intersections facilitated by a ring track, enabling seamless pod navigation. Unlike traditional ground-level transportation, this system offers faster, more reliable travel, capable of covering extensive lengths of over 500 km in large Indian cities. Comprehensive analysis and design processes have been undertaken, for the selection of a steel truss girder bridge and the straight track segment analysis. This paper presents a promising solution for urban transportation challenges, offering sustainability, efficiency, and scalability for future urban development through the development of a structurally efficient light rail mass transportation system.

摘要
