Performance of Evaporative Battery Thermal Management System

Battery Thermal Management System (BThMS) controls the safety and performance of electric cars. Studies have been done on the effectiveness of different BThMS charging with current and discharging in both traction and cruising modes. The performance of the EC BThMS is 25.35% better than that of the AC-BThMS and 21.12% better than that of the LC-BThMS. Energy savings are also 23% greater with AC-BThMS and 57.5% greater with LC-BThMS. Thus, the invention in intelligent evaporative BThMS for contemporary electric vehicles is highlighted by this difficulty. By keeping an eye on the battery’s temperature between 30 and 40 °C in both the state of charge (SoC) and the state of discharge (SoD), the EC BThMS’s integrated intelligent system maximizes battery performance. If the battery temperature rises beyond 40 °C, particularly when the car is in driving mode and there is cell damage, the smart system alerts the user. Thus, by lowering the frequency of battery recharging, intelligent EC BThMS can increase battery life, guarantee battery safety, and conserve energy.
