The COVID-19 pandemic has had a significant impact on daily activities, especially for students in peri-urban areas. The limited space for movement and social activities due to the COVID-19 pandemic has affected the level of physical activity of students in peri-urban areas. In the face of the COVID-19 pandemic, social and mobility policies have affected the lifestyle and physical activity habits of students. Therefore, study is needed on the physical activity of students in peri-urban areas. This study aims to determine the level of physical activity of upper-class students in State Elementary Schools in the Peri-Urban area. This research is quantitative descriptive. Total population used in suburban public elementary schools, are 169 students, which were taken using simple random sampling technique. Instruments for measuring physical activity using Physical Activity Questionnaire–Children (PAQ-C). Data analysis used descriptive statistics as outlined in the form of percentages. The results showed that the physical activity of upper class students in State Elementary Schools in the peri-urban area was in the “good” activity category of 48.52% (84 students), and “less” by 51.47% (24 students). Future work that can be done is to develop programmes or interventions to increase students’ physical activity after the COVID-19 pandemic in peri-urban areas, taking into account existing conditions and limitations.
