The Social Dimensions of D. I. Yogyakarta Society About Sports During the Covid 19 Pandemic

This study will provide an overview and information about the quality of view of the social dimensions of the people of Yogyakarta about Sports During the Covid-19 Pandemic. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research using survey methods. The population in this study is the entire community in the D. I. Yogyakarta from various age groups, gender, and social status who are doing sports in sports venues. The sample used in this study amounted to 1349 people taken by random and incidental sampling, called accidental random sampling. The instrument used to collect data in this study was in the form of a closed questionnaire or questionnaire, which was presented online through a google form, and a direct manual questionnaire which was compiled and developed by the research team and several experts through the focus group discussion (FGD) stage. The results showed that the view of the social dimensions of the D. I. Yogyakarta regarding sports during the COVID-19 pandemic in detail, the data distribution obtained as many as 78 respondents (5.78%) were in the “excellent” category, as many as 365 respondents (27.06%) were in the “good” category, as many as 467 respondents (34.62%) are in the “moderate” category, as many as 365 respondents (27.06%) are in the “less” type and as many as 74 respondents (5.49%) are in the “inferior” category. The results of this study should be corrected in further research, namely by researching a broader scale and with more representative samples.
