Work motivation and productivity will be greatly influenced by the level of physical fitness. This study aims to determine the effect of ‘taiso gymnastics’ and ‘ojigi’, on core body muscle endurance and resting heart rate The research subjects were 18 participants female student with a mean age range of 21 years old taken purposively at one of the Job Training Institutes in Bantul, Yogyakarta. The research type is quasi-experimental; the results of the study are presented using quantitative descriptive methods. Data collection by one group pretest-posttest design. The intervention given to the subjects was in the form of taiso gymnastics, and ojigi as the independent variable which was given for six weeks. While the dependent variable of the research is core body muscle endurance (sit-up and push-up test), and resting heart rate (direct palpation of the radial artery). Based on the results of research data analysis, the output table of the t-test for the sit-up variable, obtained the value of sig = 0.001 which is smaller than (0.05). Meanwhile, the obtained value of sig = 0.000 for push-up test, which is also smaller than (0.05). As for the resting heart rate variable, the output table of the t-test shows the value of sig = 0.086, which means it is greater than (0.05). It can be concluded that ‘taiso gymnastics’ and ‘ojigi’ made, a differences in muscle endurance, meanwhile, there was no difference in the resting heart rate on the subjects before and after treatment.
