This chapter delves into the definition of the Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) framework, tracing its conceptual origins to the work of Mishra and Koehler. It unpacks the seven knowledge domains of TPACK: Content Knowledge (CK), Pedagogical Knowledge (PK), Technology Knowledge (TK), Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), Technological Content Knowledge (TCK), Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK), and the integrated TPACK. The chapter discusses the importance of TPACK for effective ICT integration in teaching and learning and reviews ICT Integrated Lesson Design and Enactment through the Lens of TPACK. It also explores emerging trends in TPACK research and introduces the concept of TPACK Design Scaffolds (DS) as a strategy to support teachers’ TPACK development and ICT integration practices.
