While puzzles are enjoyed by one person, games are played by two or more people. When it comes to games played by two people, you may be interested in who will win. Such problems are generally tackled using a tree structure called a “game tree.” In this chapter, we will consider Tic-Tac-Toe, a well-known game, and learn how to analyze general two-player games by constructing their game trees.
