Enhancing Underwater Exploration Through ROV Design with 3D-Printed Components and Dual Cameras
摘要
This journal explores advancements in the design and construction of Remotely Operated Vehicles (ROVs) for underwater exploration, focusing on the integration of 3D-printed components and dual camera systems. The incorporation of 3D-printed parts enhances the efficiency, customization, and cost-effectiveness of ROV construction, addressing challenges related to maneuverability and adaptability. The dual-camera configuration provides simultaneous visual perspectives, improving spatial awareness and data capture capabilities, particularly in delicate ecosystems such as coral reefs. Initial testing in controlled environments and subsequent marine deployment demonstrate the effectiveness of these innovations in enhancing the ROV’s structural integrity, maneuverability, and visual capabilities. These advancements not only revolutionize underwater exploration but also contribute to the preservation of marine biodiversity through improved monitoring and detection of invasive species.
