The review work aims to provide a brief knowledge of SCM’s (Supply Chain Management) importance in PMSCM (Perishable Material Supply Chain Management) for assuring quality, reliability, freshness, happiness to end users of perishable materials and ascertaining the profitability for each stakeholder of the PMSCM. All the prominent influential factors for SCM have been investigated. All the key factors function for optimization of PMSCM, as any lack in any key or chain of it results in a decrease in overall system efficiency and productivity. The environmental factors while storing, transporting, and delivering to the end customer greatly affect the perishable goods quality and freshness assurance as well as profitability at each link. The work also investigated different supply chain modelling and emphasized mathematical modelling formulation and suitability for modelling. The review studied, summarized, and presented a comparative analysis of some modelling and came to the conclusion that the computer web-based mathematical model investigation is more beneficial, efficient, result oriented for each link, stakeholder's profitability.
