Construction and demolition waste (CDW) is one of the heaviest and most voluminous waste streams generated in the European Unions. CDW is a major environmental concern in most of the Indian municipalities, as the CW generated in India is 150 metric ton and accounts for 35–40% of the global C&D waste annually. India recycles only 1% of the C&D waste that is produced, according to Centre for Science and Environment estimates. Despite the regulations and schemes in India, onsite implementation of C&D waste management is difficult. C&D waste management is among the major sustainability deliverables. Traditional tile manufacturing processes often involve the use of virgin materials, Contributing to resource depletion and environmental impact. This invention describes a pioneering technique for crafting tiles using epoxy resin and construction and demolition (C&D) waste. Focused on sustainable practices, this invention is the optimal blend of waste materials and resin, aiming to produce visually appealing tiles. Existing techniques involve recycling materials, such as glass or ceramics, in tile production to some extent. By repurposing C&D waste, the method not only contributes to waste reduction but also offers a creative pathway for environmentally conscious construction materials, addressing both aesthetic and structural considerations.

摘要
