Cities bring people together, in-person and virtually. In preparing this book, interviews were held with about 30 people active in the urban sector, half in Canada, and half international. A key takeaway in talking to these individuals, and others, is how open and engaged people are on the issue of cities, and how hopeful and keen they are to help. There is enormous latent support for the transition to sustainability.
