Empowering Teacher Leadership Through Professional Learning Communities: Insights from Turnaround Schools in Southern Thailand
摘要
This chapter aims to elucidate the practices of principals used to empower teacher leadership in low-performing education-sandbox pilot schools. This qualitative study collected data through interviewing eight principals and through participatory observation of professional learning community activities. The principals were purposively selected from public primary schools that had joined the education-sandbox pilot area of Thailand’s Pattani province. An interview protocol was used, and data were analysed using the thematic analysis technique.
