Research on Motor Vibration and Noise Based on Stator Magnetic Field Optimization

The stator magnetic field of the flat wire motor of new energy vehicles will affect the vibration and noise of the motor, In this paper, the principle of electromagnetic force of permanent magnet synchronous motor is first introduced, then the radial force wave tables of flat wire motors with different slots/poles are listed, and the stator magnetic motive harmonics of four different pole and slot combinations which are with different short coil-pitch windings are analysed, therefore the vibration and noise of four schemes are simulated and the noise slices of each order are analysed. Finally, the method for optimizing the vibration noise of 6-poles and 54-slots motors is proposed, and its effectiveness is verified by simulation.
