In this paper, based on the demand of weight reduction of transmission half shaft of FSAE racing car, a set of transmission half shaft with carbon fiber as the main material of half shaft, titanium alloy as the joint material, and gluing as the jointing method is designed, and the design of carbon half shaft paving scheme, joint structure design, gluing scheme selection and Ansys simulation checking are carried out, which realizes the requirement of weight reduction of about 40% comparing with that of the original carbon half shaft.

摘要
