Aiming to detect gravitational wave signals at the frequency band of 0.1mHz−1Hz in space, TianQin has the requirement of the residual acceleration noise of the test mass which should be lower than \({10}^{-15}\textrm{ms}^{-2}\textrm{Hz}^{-1/2}\) , thus all influence factors acting upon the test mass should be restricted within this requirement. In this paper, We used simulation methods to explore the eddy current effects of the test mass in TianQin, and the processes were presented in detail. The simulation results were compared with both analytical solution and measurement result and they show an excellent agreement.
