The dynamic behavior of layered and uniform scrap tire derivative and fly ash mixture was investigated through a comparative study. The research aimed to understand how variations in the arrangement of materials affect the small strain shear modulus, a critical factor in geotechnical engineering. The study comprises of laboratory testing, including bender element tests, to simulate wave propagation under variations of confining pressure and other scenarios. Results revealed significant differences between the layered and uniform mixture in terms of the magnitude of the modulus. Furthermore, the research explained the influence of scrap tire derivatives on dynamic response, showcasing their potential as effective stabilizers when incorporated into layered configurations.

摘要
