Parametric Survival Analysis Using Weibull Regression Model for Stroke Patients
摘要
Health is one of the most important aspects of human survival. One of the targets of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is to ensure a healthy and prosperous life for people of all ages. Stroke is a disease that can lead to death and disability. Therefore, this research analyzes the resilience of stroke patients. The data used in this research was obtained from a hospital in Indonesia. The variables included in this research were survival time, patient mortality status (the event variable), age, gender, type of stroke, hypertension, heart disease, glucose levels, smoking, and cholesterol. The methods used in this research are both semi-parametric and parametric survival analysis. The semi-parametric method employed is the Cox Proportional Hazard model, while the parametric method used is the Weibull Regression model. The results of the survival analysis show that the best model is the Weibull Regression model. The factors influencing the resilience of stroke patients are gender, hypertension, and heart disease.
