This final chapter outlines the primary findings from research on the economic development of the Central Asian countries and their transition path to open market economies. It summarises the key findings, making it possible to understand the features of the economic transformation of the region, to determine the directions of its further shift, and to identify the primary factors influencing the current situation and prospects for growth. Special attention is also paid to the interconnection between political management and economic development. Moreover, this chapter examines how the quality of public administration, the level of political stability, and the breadth of institutional reforms determine the success of economic reforms. Based on the data collected and analysis of them, the main argument from this research is formulated in the conclusions, reflecting the most significant factors determining the economic dynamics of the Central Asian countries and their future prospects.
