Central Asia at a Glance
摘要
This chapter provides basic information about the Central Asian countries—an overview of the location, the borders of the region, and climatic conditions affecting the overall economic landscape of the region, and thus reflects the structure of production in most countries in the region. In addition, each country is described separately, considering various aspects in detail, covering the population, administrative divisions, and natural resources; special attention is paid to the economic condition, public administration, and when and how each country’s independence was adopted. This chapter evaluates the financial situation of each country and presents a comparative analysis, pointing out the areas in which they excel and those in which, conversely, they fall short.
