This paper introduces a blockchain-based framework conceived to strengthen the security of IoT networks through its in turn the response to it. The framework also incorporates smart contracts for automating reactions from detected threats so that the attack surface of the IoT network can therefore be minimized efficiently. This method improves the security of the IoT environment while providing maximum operational efficiency with regards to the mitigation of new cyber threats through the monitoring of load data and the integration of back-office systems into anomaly detection.
