Such changing climate is destroying the production of pulses worldwide from erratic rainfall patterns, rising temperature, and devastating pest outbreaks over these essential crop species that require protein. They are resilient. However, nowadays, pulses can easily be predisposed to increased environmental stresses most especially at such critical growth stage, which gives way to reductions in yields plus compromised nitrogen fixation. This review discusses the issues of climate changes on major pulse crops and proffers actual solutions to improve the challenges thereof. Strategies developed include drought-tolerant pulse varieties, water-conserving farming, and integrated pest management. The chapter is also filled with innovative breeding programs and adaptive agronomic techniques which can build greater resilience and productivity. It gives a clear track for the farmer to adapt to changing conditions in focusing on scalable solutions and actionable strategies. This chapter concludes by pointing out the requirement for proper cooperation between researchers, policymakers, and farming communities to ensure the sustainability of pulse production in the long term.
