The research team, taking into account the role of hydrogen energy in the new energy system and the broader trends in energy transition, has developed a methodology to forecast hydrogen demand in China's major energy consumption sectors. This methodology is built upon a scientific assessment of China's medium- to long-term economic and social development, industrial policy, technological advancements, and resource and environmental constraints. Additionally, the research team has constructed a hydrogen consumption forecasting model and identified potential development paths for the hydrogen industry.
