The current era has witnessed dramatic evolutions in the sphere of construction. A primary focus has been directed towards eco-friendly constructions, which have become commonplace. However, construction stakeholders endeavour to implement sustainability on their projects advertised as sustainable but fall woefully short in achieving Sustainability 3.0, which is paramount in today’s world. Seeking to stem the problems associated with education and policy implementation of sustainability paradigms, the chapter, through case studies, tries to analyze the educational gap with regard to policy construction, implementation and enforcement of the needed stipulations that bound stakeholders to effective (or responsible) construction practices. Education is the key tool towards solving most of the challenges emerging economies encounter. The main focus and success pattern of developing economies is outsourcing construction projects to developing nations where human resources are available but critically lack advanced knowledge technology to aid in sustainability achievement. The scope of stakeholder engagement is broadened to take advantage of the benefits brought about by effective communication and collaboration. These fostered increased trust, enhanced transparency, and greater adaptability, all of which are critical for sustaining innovation. There are, however, communication barriers and resistance to change that accompany these issues. The chapter suggests a conceptual framework for designing inclusive and accessible education programs meeting the needs of the industry. It proposes a shift from conventional to cutting-edge training through the use of digital tools and simulations to improve the overall learning experience. Furthermore, the chapter identifies a range of training topics, such as sustainable materials, energy efficiency, and various ways of their implementation, including workshops and certification training courses. Lastly, the chapter brings together the most important points presented in the above sections and puts forward practical suggestions for governments, business practitioners, and people working in higher education. It points to the need for the development of more integrated approaches to provide a sustainable future for the construction industry. The most important lesson is that responsiveness to change must become a fundamental element underpinning interaction in higher education and in practice concerning the construction industry.
