The Investigation about Shared Regulation in Collaborative Programming: A Study of the Temporal Dynamics of Team-Based Programming Activities

Collaborative programming facilitates increased learning efficiency, addresses individual variances, and promotes a comprehension of programming knowledge through shared regulation activities. This study examines the role of collaborative programming and investigates how students engage in shared regulatory activities at different stages of collaborative programming using video coding and lag sequential analysis. The study also aims to uncover the temporal patterns of shared regulatory activities across different levels of cooperative performance.
