Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS) have attracted widespread attention from academia and industry due to their ability to flexibly manipulate electromagnetic characteristics in the channel environment. RIS typically consists of numerous carefully designed electromagnetic units. By applying control signals to the adjustable components on these units, their electromagnetic properties can be dynamically controlled. This allows for active and intelligent control of spatial electromagnetic waves in a programmable manner, forming an electromagnetic field with controllable amplitude, phase, polarization, and frequency characteristics.
