Mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) present challenges for multi-objective routing because of their dynamic topology and wide range of application requirements. To enhance routing decisions, this paper offers a weight-based optimization framework that simultaneously considers several variables, including overhead, energy efficiency, delay minimization, and link stability. To assign routing metrics dynamic weights based on application requirements and network conditions, the proposed framework uses a multi-objective optimization technique. As a result of its adaptability to different scenarios, simulation results show that the framework significantly improves network performance when compared to traditional single-objective protocols. The proposed multi-objective routing framework enhances the efficiency and adaptability of MANETs, offering societal benefits such as improved disaster response, energy-efficient connectivity in resource-limited areas, and support for real-time communication in smart city applications while promoting sustainable, scalable, and flexible wireless network solutions.

摘要
