The Impact of Continuous Learning on Employee Performance in Dynamic Hospitality Environments: The Mediating Role of Knowledge Sharing

This study examines continuous learning on employee performance in dynamic hospitality environment in the context of hotels in Ghana, focusing on the mediating roles of knowledge sharing and the interactive effect of leadership support. This study adopted a cross-sectional survey design and randomly sampled 473 respondents across two regions in Ghana: Upper East and Northern regions with employees working with or exposed to hotels in these regions in Ghana. This study revealed that continuous learning improves employee performance by giving them the skills and adaptability to thrive in dynamic work environments. Knowledge sharing strongly mediates the relationship between continuous learning and employee performance. Leadership support moderates the relationship between continuous learning and employee performance, emphasizing leaders’ vital role in learning promotion and maintenance.
