The Role of Life-Long Learning AI in Management: Organizational Learning and Technology Adoption on Managerial Performance

This study examined how AI performance learning and AI adoption influence organisational performance in retail sector in Ghana. The study adopted a survey design to collect data from 871 sampled respondents across three cities in retail sector in Ghana: Accra, Kumasi and Tamale. The survey targeted consumers who had interacted with AI-powered chatbots on e-commerce or service platforms in Ghana. The results revealed organizational learning and AI adoption drive organizational performance, with knowledge integration as a mediator. Organizational learning improves knowledge integration but found a negative relationship between organizational learning and knowledge integration. Results show AI adoption improves knowledge integration and organizational performance. Leadership style moderates organizational learning, AI adoption, and performance. To maximize performance, transformational and adaptive leaders must associate AI initiatives with organizational learning.
