Social Capital and Identity: Yunzhi as a Case Study

This chapter is developed from the revision of the master’s theses of Chen Liyu on social work. This chapter mainly examines the correlation between social capital and the well-being of youth (teenagers included), involving the concepts of social capital and well-being. Social capital is undoubtedly a sociological concept and a very important one to connect macro social policies, mezzo social networks, and micro personal resources (capital). Based on this, social capital research should not be limited to the field of sociology, but should be extensively discussed in the fields of politics, economics, social psychology, social work and so on.
