Tiltrotor aircraft, with its vertical takeoff and landing capabilities and high-speed cruise efficiency, have demonstrated significant advantages in the aviation field, especially in complex terrains and special missions where they play an irreplaceable role. The excellent flight performance of tiltrotor aircraft makes it have great potential for development and application in the aviation field. However, the diversity of flight modes and the complexity of transition stages also bring many challenges to the control design of tiltrotor aircraft. This article focuses on the development of tiltrotor aircraft and the current research status of control technology. Based on the current situation, it looks forward to the next step of tiltrotor aircraft controller design and proposes some research direction suggestions.
