This chapter explores the high-quality educational equity in China, highlighting its essential role in achieving balanced development within the compulsory education system in China. The 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly stated that priority should be given to the development of education and the promotion of equity in education. This chapter explores the connotation and theory research of high-quality education system and evolving values of a high-quality education equity, addressing the challenges posed by unbalanced and inadequate distribution of educational resources that impact educational equity in China. It further illustrates the pathways for realizing educational equity proposing strategies to overcome these disparities. This chapter concludes with both practical suggestions and a summary of key insights, offering a comprehensive understanding of the efforts needed to enhance high-quality educational equity in China.
