Publicly Funded Normal University Student’s Sustainable Development in China
摘要
This chapter aims to investigate the development of publicly funded normal university students within China’s higher education system, analyzing the challenges of recruitment and selection. Publicly funded normal universities serve as a critical pathway for rural students to become qualified teachers, aligning with the core educational goal of these institutions. It is suggested that publicly funded normal university should prioritize the theme of “educating people” and strengthen the motivation of cultivation of normal university students. In terms of curriculum setting, the goal of these university students should be focused on cultivating general and innovative professional talents. In addition, the improvement of living and working conditions should be laid as the basis of post-employment support for these students.
