This chapter examines Chinese classroom instruction and educational standards. One implication of quality education is to cultivate students’ personality. It is to teach according to aptitude, instead of using a test model to restrict the development of students. The classroom is a setting that is both familiar and unfamiliar to educators. It is familiar because educators frequently engage in it, as it serves as the primary venue for teaching and educating. However, it is unfamiliar because, despite this close association, educators seldom focus on or examine the classroom environment in depth. Classroom is still a field that has not been paid much attention to in the theoretical research of pedagogy, because the traditional pedagogy studies various elements in the classroom, which is a “deconstructive” study of the classroom; but it does not study the classroom as a whole, which is a study that needs “reconstruction.”

摘要
