Conclusions and Policy Implications
摘要
The purpose of this study was to examine how domestic abuse affects the mental health of Qatari women. Several questions were sought to be addressed in this study concerning the prevalence and forms of IPV exerted on Qatari women and the potential risk of homicide they may encounter. PTSD, Depression, and Anxiety were considered adverse outcomes of IPV on mental health in this study. This study investigated factors associated with IPV victimisation, attitudes towards women, and the reasons behind women’s passive attitudes towards ending the cycle of abuse.
