Domestic Abuse Against Women: Correlates and Conundrums
摘要
This chapter presents the quantitative results of the study, which examined the relationship between various variables. Descriptive analysis and four statistical analyses were based on the current nature of the violet normal distribution for some scales, as well as the limitations of the small sample size. This was explained in detail previously in the methodology chapter. To analyse the data, parametric and non-parametric tests including ANOVA, Pearson correlation, Kruskal-Wallis test, and Mann-Whitney U test were necessary when the assumptions of normality were not satisfied (Chan, 2003; Song & Lu, 2015). Its purpose is to provide a detailed analysis and answer research questions and achieve greater power efficiency as stated by Siegel (2012). Therefore, this was the rationale for employing a variety of statistical measures in the quantitative chapter.
