Alcohol fuels stand out from the rest because they have performance, ignition, and combustion characteristics that are quite like conventional fuels derived from petroleum. Alcohols can be used directly in internal combustion (IC) engines as oxygenated fuels or combined with biofuels. Alcohol fuels are a good substitute for conventional fuels and help create a more sustainable energy future because of their intrinsic oxygen content, which also improves engine performance and lowers exhaust emissions.
