A Review of Wall Panel Developments and Implementations that Are Transforming Building Envelopes

The most recent developments and uses of wall panel technologies transforming building exteriors are investigated in this paper. Modern materials and techniques—including precast concrete panels with bolt connections, lightweight high-strength self-insulating foamed concrete panels, and Bamcrete panels—are underlined in the study These technologies offer better sustainability, energy economy, and structural performance. Furthermore investigated in the paper is the use of recycled materials in sustainable wall panels, which improve thermal and acoustic qualities while so minimising environmental damage. Wall panel designs have evolved aesthetically to combine visual appeal with utility, so enabling their use in many building projects. Although complex material selection and costly upfront expenses exist, the use of sophisticated wall panel systems presents many opportunities to increase building efficiency and sustainability. All things considered, this study emphasises the major influence modern building techniques could get from advanced wall panel technologies.
