In the current conditions of implementing the cooperative educational process, there is a need to emphasize the development of an ecologically oriented direction in preparing future specialists. In this process, the collaboration of the cooperative system with green non-governmental organizations plays a significant role, exerting a systemic effect on the formation of the ecological consciousness of future specialists. The research aims to analyze the pedagogical and educational possibilities that make it possible to recreate conditions for involving future cooperators in the green movement, shaping their ecological worldview, and developing professional competencies. The research tasks are (1) to summarize the features of implementing environmental education in the context of preparing personnel for cooperation; (2) to identify conditions and pedagogical approaches for the successful realization of students’ creative potential in the process of forming ecological consciousness; and (3) to analyze the activities of green non-governmental organizations as essential institutional-organizational entities in preparing ecologically-oriented personnel for cooperation. The research methodology is based on an integrative, interactive, practice-oriented, and systemic approach to education. Special attention is given to the projective method as a leading pedagogical construct in the creative self-realization of students. The authors analyzed the activities of ecologically oriented organizations in the Republic of Mordovia, including the Regional Branch of the Green Movement of Russia “ECA,” the Regional Branch of the All-Russian Public Organization for the Protection of Natural Resources “Russian Ecological Society,” and the Republican Public Organization “Green World.” The experience of the Saransk Cooperative Institute in implementing ecologically-oriented education is examined, including the establishment of the scientific laboratory “Eco Club: Green Science,” participation in eco-activist gatherings, and collaboration with the Association of Green Universities in Russia. The research highlights the importance of integration and cooperation between the university and green non-governmental organizations in effectively shaping individuals with an ecological worldview. It is established that ecologically-oriented preparation of specialists in the field of cooperation initiates a process that reflects a qualitative transformation of personal orientations, instilling life-affirming attitudes and a profound understanding of the interconnectedness of humans with the environment.
