Research on Application of BIM Technology in Steel Arch Bridge of Large River Span

With the rapid development of science and information technology, people put forward higher and higher requirements for bridge engineering construction. Due to the shortage of traditional construction technology and the comprehensive coverage of information technology, China’s bridge engineering has begun to transform to information technology. How to apply information technology to various fields of bridge engineering has become a research hotspot at present. This paper takes Taizhou Xintongyang Canal project as an example to study the application of BIM technology in long-span steel arch bridge, and conducts application analysis in construction planning, construction production, BIM+ thrust, BIM integrated application platform, and other aspects according to specific projects. The research results have certain practical value, hoping to expand the application ideas of BIM technology in bridge engineering.
