The design process between problem and solution is overwhelming. It contains a natural process that can take all forms. The design process of an artefact consists of a process with input and output. The input of the design process for the elderly must be a design problem described in the context of meeting their wishes, desires, and requirements. The process also has a technological background from which many methods may describe, the best known being that of Pahl and Beitz. The technique aims to create products for the user's comfort. The elderly live satisfied lives but still have wishes and desires regarding their well-being. Well-being requires an entirely different approach to problem definition for designing for the elderly. Design for well-being will achieve great satisfaction among older people in society. The needs of the elderly remain hidden by the political context in which the nation exists. However, new visions are needed to break the current production and social development systems. 摘要

However, social and cultural developments require challenging methods to involve older people in developing a culture focused on peace and justice. The needs of the elderly remain hidden by the political context in which the nation exists. However, new visions are needed to break the current production and social development systems. These new visions, rooted in philosophy, art, technology, and the art of living, can inspire the breakthrough. Consciousness, faith, ‘true being’, and ‘mere appearance’ are some concepts that significantly impact technological progress. The design process follows a fixed pattern based on technological methods. However, the imagination of the process produces a flexible pattern based on methodologies from other domains from which the design process for older people is outlined.
