Re-Optimization and Evaluation of Global Food Systems: Case Studies from China, USA, and Ethiopia
摘要
This paper examines global food systems, focusing on balancing efficiency, profitability, equity, and sustainability. Using data from China, the USA, and Ethiopia (2000–2020), models for these indicators are developed via methods like logistic modeling, Runge–Kutta, and linear programming. A Prioritized Food System Index (PFSI) is introduced to evaluate the impact of shifting priorities. The analysis reveals trade-offs between economic and social-environmental goals, providing a roadmap to enhance food systems’ sustainability and equity across diverse contexts.
