New Quality Productivity Enables Digital Financial Development: Empirical Evidence
摘要
The research delves into how the burgeoning concept of quality productivity is affecting the digital finance sector, leveraging regional data from 2012 through 2022. The results indicate that this novel form of productivity is a significant catalyst for the expansion of digital finance. A more nuanced examination shows that its influence is not uniform across all facets of digital finance; it most dramatically boosts digitalization levels, has a considerable effect on user engagement, and exerts a relatively minor influence on the breadth of its reach. Based on these observations, the paper advocates for a strategic push in nurturing new productivity, targeting key emerging industries with a forward-looking approach and bolstering R&D in state-of-the-art tech. These strategies are anticipated to supercharge the progression of digital finance.
