In the face of Malaysia’s digital challenges, ubiquitous computing emerges as a promising avenue to enhance efficiency and bolster economic impact within the realm of public transportation. This research investigates the integration of ubiquitous computing technologies into Malaysia’s Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and bus systems, aiming to optimize operations, improve service quality, and stimulate economic growth. Through a case study approach, this paper explores the potential benefits of ubiquitous computing in addressing key challenges faced by Malaysia’s public transportation sector.
