Early Detection of Cancer Using Super Wide Band Antenna
摘要
In this paper an elliptical patch antenna (31 × 19 × 1.635) mm3 is proposed for super wideband applications. Flexibility is achieved by using polyimide substrate material. The proposed antenna is tuned to cover the 31.362–60 GHz with FR-4 substrate and 34.2–60 GHz with polyimide substrate frequency range that covers the SWB band. The proposed antenna resonates at 49.573 GHz with S11 of −58.609 dB for FR-4 substrate, and it resonates at 47.347 GHz with S11 of −41.445 dB for polyimide substrate and achieves a 28.638 GHz of impedance bandwidth with FR-4 substrate, 25.8 GHz for polyimide substrate respectively. The peak gain is 9.16 dBi for FR-4 substrate and 8.85 dBi for polyimide substrate and radiation characteristics are observed for planar to flexible conditions. The obtained results show that proposed super wideband antenna can used to identify the cancer tissue in human body and antenna is adaptable on human body.
