Alternating water and gas injection is one of the main effective measures to solve the problem of gas channeling in CO2 flooding oil wells (Wang Yue in Surface Eng Oil Gas Fields (04), 2014). At present, the ground supporting technology in China is not yet mature. D Oilfield has innovatively researched and promoted the “one pipe dual injection” patented process technology in response to the problems of multiple types of water and gas alternating injection media, easy freezing and blockage of the injection pipeline network, and repeated construction of surface facilities in the P1 gas injection test area. The “same valve group injection” process has been further proposed and successfully tested, optimizing and simplifying surface processes, avoiding duplicate construction, reducing construction standards, and ensuring the economic and efficient CCUS test in D Oilfield.
