Non-lethal Gaseous Weapon Equipped Unmanned Ground Vehicle for Military Surveillance and Control
摘要
This research paper introduces an unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) specifically designed for military applications, featuring a non-lethal weapon system and advanced surveillance capabilities. The UGV incorporates a front-mounted camera, enabling remote control functionality to reduce the risk of casualties among military personnel. With a focus on reconnaissance, the UGV can also deploy its non-lethal weapon assembly to disorient militants using vaporised substances. The structural integrity of the UGV’s chassis was analysed, revealing a maximum von Mises stress of 4.617 × 106 Pa and a factor of safety of 4.0069 under load. The paper concludes with insights into the weapon’s efficiency, demonstrating its ability to disperse gas across a 3 m × 3 m × 3 m room volume within 74 s. This comprehensive UGV presents an asset for military operations, combining surveillance, remote control, and non-lethal capabilities for enhanced tactical versatility.
