Smart Water Quality Monitoring System Using IOT

Water quality is important in protecting public health and environmental sustainability. Static water monitoring methods are often labor-intensive, time-consuming, and have limited data collection. This paper introduces water quality monitoring using Internet of Things (IoT) technology to provide better solutions and increase efficiency. The system integrates various sensors to measure important water parameters such as pH, turbidity, temperature, and dissolved oxygen. These sensors are connected to a microcontroller that sends data to the cloud platform via wireless communication protocol. Real-time monitoring and data analysis are performed via cloud storage and visualization tools, enabling remote monitoring and timely decision-making. The system is designed to alert when water quality deviates from acceptable levels, enabling rapid response to pollution situations. This IoT-based solution provides a cost-effective, efficient, and scalable approach to continuous water monitoring with municipal water supply, wastewater treatment, and environmental management.
