One of the newest solutions for tracking water usage in residential households is an Arduino-Centred Water Ingestion Observing Structure with SMS Announcement, which shows the water consumption in real time as well as the amount owed digitally. This study’s primary goal is to raise water consumers’ awareness. The issue of excessive water use was the main focus of the researcher’s investigation. The LCD shows how much water is utilised in a house when water starts to flow through the water flow sensor. The sensor monitors the volume and rate of water, and the Arduino microcontroller computes the data and displays it into the LCD along with the water consumption in real time. When the customer reaches the flat rate, a notification will appear with the following information: the flat rate, the amount owed, and the date. If high water flow is detected, automatically the water flow is cut off.
