Automated Sensor-Based Filtration System for Reducing Ammonia and H2S Emission in Poultry Farms
摘要
The emission of ammonia (NH3) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) gases from the poultry farm affects the health and environment. The emission of these gases causes respiratory illness to the farm workers and animals. This proposal was an automated sensor-based filtration system to detect and control the emission of ammonia and hydrogen sulfide using a Raspberry Pi. The specialized sensors H2S sensors MQ136 with the NH3 sensor MQ137 were connected through the Raspberry Pi Pico. Gases will be given to the filtering system once a threshold level for the gases reached. Toxic gaseous releases can be diminished by more than 70% and were finally released to the atmosphere.
