Gandhāran art and archaeology always depend on each other and go hand in hand and cannot be studied and separated from each other when it comes to the study of archaeology Hindu and Buddhist of the region. The hundreds of Buddhist sites documented in the region have yielded thousands of cultural objects scattered in different museums and private collections around the world.
